In the initial design of PD Links, we required that rooms be booked once Managers approved a Training (Meeting). Once Facilitators started booking meetings, we learned that this approach was not scalable and that we would have to decentralize room bookings. To achieve this, we tweaked the process a little. Now rather than securing the room on approval, the room is secured on submission of the training request. As a Facilitator, you may not notice much of a difference other rooms be more booked than you are used to seeing. As a Manager, this should hopefully require fewer training cancelations due to double booking.
